To study in the library’s reading rooms:

• Download the Liberty Link app from the Google Play / Apple App Store.
• Follow the app setup steps from the online catalog (when you are signed in to your account). You will find the setup instructions next to the QR code.
• Upon entering the reading room, in the mobile app’s Circulation module tap Borrow Items → scan the barcode located beneath the seat number (make sure it is the seat you reserved beforehand).

After scanning, tap Finish when prompted by the app. If you do not tap Finish, the system will not treat the borrowing as completed.

When leaving, in the Circulation module of the Liberty Link app tap Return Items → scan the seat’s barcode again and tap Finish.

If you do not scan the barcode to return the seat or do not tap Finish after returning, the system will not register the return, and the seat number will appear as not returned/overdue under your name. In this case, the system will send you an overdue notice.
