The Institutional Digital Repository was established by digitizing the Special Collections fund of the university Library, consisting of old books, periodicals, manuscripts, iconographic materials, with the aim of providing open access to materials that are difficult to access or unavailable to the public.
The fund of special collections is exhibited in the Hall of the Museum of the History of Medicine and Pharmacy, in the premises of the Library of Medicine and Pharmacy and in the Documentary Fund of the Library of Sciences and Letters.
The oldest book owned by the UMFST Library G. E. Palade Tg. Mureș included in this collection was published in 1532, with the title: Epitome opusculi de curandis pusculis ulceribus & doloribus morbi Gallici, mali franzos appellati, author: Laurentio Phrisio.
The Library invites you to discover the collections from the Institutional Digital Repository .
